I searched through the internet and Amazon to find a holder that would hold my iPad and my phone savely whilst travelling on the plane, what can I say this is perfect. The iPad fits quite snug (without a case) and is very secure in the spring supported arms. It’s closed reasonably size and very portable in my small inflight bag. It is very sturdy, and easy to use with a bit of resistance. When opening the holding arms there is a button that needs to be pressed to extend the arms further to make the iPad fit. I like that it is versatile, that I can use both my phone or iPad and it is very sturdy. In the hotel room I clipped it to the bed side table so I can watch a film in bed. I really can't believe this is the only product on the market which clamps a tablet to a flight table. Works perfectly although I underestimated how big my tablet (just 1cm over!) was so I'm having to get a slightly smaller one.

I used this product on 2 different occasions travelling abroad - I’ve used it on National Express buses and 2 different planes and it’s fitted perfectly everywhere. I even used it at my hotel so that I could watch my iPad instead of using the TV. It’s really nice not to hurt your neck looking down at the iPad, and even nicer not to have to hold it. I would wholly recommend buying this if you’re on the fence.

the comments saying certain tablets will not fit are wrong, used correctly they will fit perfect, unless you press the middle button it only opens enough for large phones, press the button and it opens very wide for tablets.

First, this product is great. It is inexpensive and does exactly what it is supposed to do. The grip is strong enough to hold up my Samsung Galaxy Tablet while on a commercial flight, clipping it to the secured tray in front of me. Every time I fly my neighbors compliment me on this device and inquire where they can get one, too. The best part is the grip is adjustable so it can also shrink to fit my Galaxy S21. All I need to do is turn my phone sideways into the grips, then rotate the device (it swivels 360) to whatever view I want. Second, for all those complaining about the device being difficult to work and loud when it does... you're doing it wrong. In fact, you're trying to break it. The device is meant to expand and contract to fit anything from a phone to a tablet. To do this, there is a button in the center of the "grip" area. You press that button and it silently expands to whatever size you need. Or you can, with great difficulty and noise, force it to go larger and strip it's gear teeth in the process. I recommend pressing this button. It's not even difficult to find! 5 stars all the way.
