This is a solid metal memory stick that actually delivers on the advertised speed, and that's impressive. The double ends for USB-A and USB-C are perfect if you need to connect it to various devices such as phones, desktops and laptops (or Macbooks). It's rather heavy, being metal, so I'm worried about the stress that puts on the phone or computer's USB port. The stick is quite long, so if you know your physics, the longer the stick is the more force is applied at its point of fixing, especially since its metal. Maybe I'm just fussing but I won't keep the stick plugged in for any longer than it's needed. Overall this is a great high-performance pocket-size storage device and is worth paying that little bit extra for the genuinely fast read/write speeds.

The dual - ended design is just one of those simple yet remarkably useful ideas if, like me, you’re often moving files between old and new machines or taking files to clients/friends who have slow broadband etc. for ½TB of space, the price isn’t bad although you can get that amount of storage for much less. But add the two USB ports which are both well protected when not in use, and the nice leather case it comes with and I think it’s a real winner. Never thought I’d hear myself saying I really enjoy using this usb stick!

This is an absolutely fantastic product. It gives me a genuine 500 MB/sec plus speed on my most modern Apple and Windows computers. Unlike many keys it manages to negotiate a fast speed and does not seem to fall back to the USB 2 40MB/sec speed. It comes with both Type A and C interfaces so I don't need to carry a dongle. It comes in a small leather slip case that some may find useful. This is my goto and default recommended USB key in 2025. It's even my standard issue for running piOS on my Raspberry Pi's.

MP3 Files transferred quickly however they only played on the laptop that the stick was plugged in to. But the whole point of buying a memory stick with such a large capacity was to be able to transfer and play all my MP3 files on to one stick and this stick was not compatible with my hifi system due to its size. I have not yet tried any mp4 or AVI files so hopefully these will work. So just double check compatibility with your system before you buy it if it's for music mine reads 64GB sticks but this one is obviously not compatible. Update: I have deleted all the files this morning and reformatted the stick and tried it with both MP3 and AVI and MP4 files it is not recognising any of them and I have tried it on 3 different televisions and two different hi-fi systems and it is still not recognising them. So basically this is only good for storage, I had ordered a 2 TB stick as well but have cancelled this today

Tired of those average flash drives... Yes! The ones with limited space and take forever to transfer all of your files? Say no more! It's ideal for on-the-go use because it can be slipped into your pocket or attached to your key chain. This gadget is incredibly versatile, making it ideal for storing and playing documents, videos, and images in one location. Overall, this should provide consistent performance, while some people may discover different to comparable results. Several people have mentioned that this drive becomes hot, but exactly how toasty does it get? In the last two images, I recorded the base temperature 5 minutes after first plugging it in, which was 32°C. Then, I thought it wouldn't have made sense to take recordings of the tempture during the first test, so I ran two full tests with 9 runs per each SEQ (SEQUNTIAL) and RND (RANDOM) read/write of the 16 GB as a drive burner, each test taking about 10 minutes. During the second test, I recorded the temperature at 51°C which was its peak but hovering more around 50°C. However, in just a matter of one to two minutes its already cool due to its Zinc alloy outer coating. If your worried about the dual USB A and C ends not having the same speeds, have no worries! I ran both ends into the back end of my B450-F Gaming Motherboard which has USB A and C 10Gbps ports. The speeds have about 1% deviation in speeds if none at all since these tests aren't perfect, meaning the storage chips are slower than the interface so for complexity reasons in this review I've chosen to keep it simple. For anyone in search of a reliable pocket-sized device that offers both high speeds and large storage capacity, this is definitely the one to consider. Its performance is unmatched, providing fast data transfers and handling demanding tasks with ease. Whether you're backing up large files, running high-capacity tests, or need quick access to your data on the go, this device delivers consistently. There are virtually no alternatives on the market that offer the same combination of speed, durability, and storage in such a compact form. It's a game-changer for those who need portable, high-performance storage.
