Initially ordered another Tek floor stand but it was to heavy for me more suited to office or school. Had no trouble returning, it was picked up by curriers arranged by Amazon. This one is perfect. I can now read while knitting. I can watch films etc without having to hold my iPad. It’s simple to adjust once you get used to how it all works. No problems putting it together. And very stable.

This is a great floor stand, which has four different adjustable joints. I am mainly using it for my tablet and I am yet to find an angle or position I want to set my tablet at and not be able to. I can have the tablet in front of me when sitting on the sofa, either sitting or lying down, or I can just as easily have it next to me when standing, especially when I'm in the kitchen but still want to listen or watch various things. The base is made up of three different segments which screw in together and although the base itself is not height adjustable per se, I can take one of the segments out and increase that height variation even more. It can easily hold tablets as well as phones between 12 to 34 cm. It is a good quality stand and even with the heavier tablet on and the arm extended, stability wasn't affected and the arm could hold the tablet's weight without issues.

This is easy to put together and use. The main body and foot is of metal construction, with the joints and clamp of plastic construction. Everything is pretty well made and my only real reservation is that it is quite easy to topple if knocked from the side, which isn't ideal for a tablet to endure. If you are confident that you would keep this upright then sure, it's well made and it looks nice enough.

If you want the best then you have to pay for it and this is quite an expensive phone/tablet stand. However, it is excellent and it provides a manoeuverable, stable and high-level stand. The first thing that is likely to strike you when you receive the stand is just how heavy the box is. Once you start to remove the pieces you realise that about 90% of the total weight of the stand is in the base. It measures roughly 336mm x 273mm x 4mm and according to the listing weighs 6.4lb. The main pole is made from three sections which screw together and then screw into the base. This gives you some options over the height of the phone holder. I chose to use all three sections as I wanted to it to hold my phone above and between my two computer monitors - see images. Everything goes together simply and without fuss. Your stand will be fully assembled and in use within just a few minutes. Thereafter it is easy to adjust and get it into your preferred position. Once there is feels very stable and the holder has a strong grip on your phone/tablet. All in all I am very impressed by this stand. The quality is first class; it is easy to assemble and use and although quite expensive, it feels pretty bomb-proof so I imagine it will give many years of service. I am very happy to recommend it.

This stand is superbly made. Very solid, heavy and strong which translates to stability when holding a tablet, critical to keeping it safe and prevents it falling. The finish is very good, cream coloured white and the arms adjust to a variety of positions. For most scenarios you are likely to have only 2 of the extension poles connected with the arm on the top. The third extension pole enables the level of the tablet to be similar to standing height for an adult. I found a 10" tablet fitted easily in the holder, I think 13" would be its limit and perhaps a tight fit. I really like it, I guess its only downside is that it is quite big and heavy so if you need to store it away regularly it could be a bit of a faff. Thoroughly recommended if you need a tablet stand and you haven't got a table handy.

The AboveTEK Tablet Floor Stand (White), is quite a weighty device, I had no idea how heavy it would be till it arrived. its a solid piece of kit, and allows you use a tablet or even a phone and rotate the stand 360, so you have plenty of freedom in how you place it, can be used for lecture, by the desk, next to the sofa. The swing arm gives you lots of room to get comfortable, for watching your fave tv show while recovering in bed, The stand itself is well made, heavy, but still portable (to a point). Its also very stable. I tested it with a 11 inch tablet and had no issues and sits well, and is fully adustable so you can make it eye level. I would have preferred a black version (which is available, but I was not aware), as it would sit better with my black desk. Some assembly is required, but its fairly straight forward 3 pieces and the swing arm and the base plate too. The device can also be used at a standing desk to add another option for zoom/teams/skype calls. It is not the most fashionable of devices and stands out a bit, but if placed correctly under a desk or sofa is hardly noticable at all (base plate wise). used behind a desk or round near a sofa probably a good option, but can be used almost anywhere. The actual main grip is heavy plastic, has some padding and will hold the tablet firmly. Just remember to secure it tightly first. Pros: Easy to assemble, easy to use, 360 moveable/positioning, firm tablet grip, very stable. Cons: Heavy, sticks out a bit, design wise, unless positioned behind a sofa, bed or desk.

I had been watching this one for a while, and when the price dropped $15 I pulled the trigger. It arrived quickly. I have to say (and I don’t often) I am impressed. Every piece individually wrapped for protection, and mounted in the box in cardboard inserts to insure no movement or damage in shipment. Very clear instructions for assembly when in reality, with one step in exception, it was really common sense assembly that could be done without any instructions. I am so used to instructions in broken English from products made in China, it was a surprise. I cannot find anywhere that tell where this is made. Putting the iPad or other device holder on the ball joint, remove the collar first. Other than that assembly is really self explanatory unless you happen to be one who can’t brush your teeth without poking your eye out. It holds my iPad well, and the only complaint I saw in other reviews is correct. If you want to put it, say, at the edge of a bed with the upper arm extending out in front of you, it will not articulate to allow the screen to be aligned flat in front of you. For my use that is not an issue and it is the ONLY issue I can see with this setup. The base is heavy and is very stable even fully horizontal to the floor. The two joints on the upper arm hold well and are adjustable with an allen wrench which is included. For me, well worth the extra money over the cheaper ones I tried, and not THAT much cheaper!

Way more heavy duty than I thought it would be. Must have if you have the largest tablet. Large tablets are so heavy. Especially when you put a case on them. It hardly wiggles when bumped. The pole is not flimsy at all. The base is very heavy. I have no worry it will fall over at all.

Very easy to assemble. It worked best for me to leave out one of the poles. Sturdy base that slides partly under the couch. The stand swivels so I can have my tablet at a perfect angle to read hands free when I’m on the couch. I can gently push it aside to move it out of the way and it will hold the tablet in the exact position I left it in. Very glad to have this stand. It helps me avoid looking down at a device or loose circulation in my hands from holding a tablet in place for a long time. It can adjust to just about any angle.

Being $60 this one is pricer than the $20 generic ones on here but this is worth it. My last 3 tablet arms/stands all broke at the clamping ball joint part and most of them had tension issues with holding up a Samsung S9 12" tablet I use where it would sag... not this one. I threw all my old ones out after around a year or less. This one has a heavier base making it way studier than all my previous cheap ones and the joints are all adjustable where u can tighten with an allen key. The white looks sleek and all metal. This product just feels durable and sturdy. Best purchase within this kind of product I made. If on the edge and unsure of the quality of stands ... go with this one.
